Excellent texture and detailing... love the individual abstract feel to it all. What is the original size of the piece?
i love it but i have to admit the swirl water is a neat effect but makes it hard to follow the coastlines
I'll take that into consideration. I have been musing over the look of the coastlines. I think they look better when printed very large, but become difficult to see when small. Thank you
This novel of the world of Malar looks totally epic, I'd be first to pick it up from the local bookstore f it ever gets printed.
A beautiful piece of traditional artwork, but still lots of room of improvement on the cartographical side. A sincere congratulation on the DD nevertheless.
Very well done!
I wish I could draw a map like this for my world. Excellent work
Wow. This is a very interesting looking map.
Could you make me a map?
The coats of arms are my favorite part.
Quite a fantastic piece of work, Cartography is actually really cool! Love what you did here!
thank you, I really learned to appreciate maps when studying for this piece.
Great job. I'm in awe - I've always loved the maps at the beginning of a novel. This one is really cool. i could look at it for ages
This is seriously beast XD
The perfect archetype of a fantasy map.
I love this design and idea you have I am also an Author too AC
I like how the sea serpent blends in with the waves making it kind of half hidden.
I can see where people are coming from when they say that the water possibly distracts too much from the land. That said, the effect is so unusual and lovely that I don't really think it's a problem -- if anything it gives the map it's own unique feeling! This picture is wonderful, and I love it
Congratulations on the Daily Deviation
This is an amazing piece of art, thank you for sharing.
Kind of a neat idea, though the ocean lines are just way too distracting. Meanwhile, land features really take a backseat--a couple of trees and hills here and there, etc.
This is truly beautiful work, just stunning!
