Progress was slow before 2009. Building a library of reference material was really important. Until that point I hadn't immersed myself in knowledge and beauty.
That might have had something to do with graduating highschool :D

I had all of these kicking around on my computer already so this was a breeze to make. I was blessed with access to scanners as a child.

Updated for year 2012! I will continue to keep this current.

Your 11-year-old art was even better than my current art... Sad for me. xD
Nice work though; very inspiring~

Thank you. I was very pleased with that one myself. I never finished it because my photoshop file became corrupt. (It was a real downer.) I drew her again in box 1 of 2010. But I used ink and watercolor that time around.

It's not photoshop itself that I hate. It's the false information I had heard about it. For instance, people advertised how much faster they worked with it, but that was not the case for me.

It's amazing...and quite puzzling to see the progress you made in so little time.
Did you attend to art school?

Thanks.
I had a 6th grade watercolor class that I learned a lot in. My highshcool art/photoshop classes didn't help much however. One teacher said, "Let's make pancakes! Cooking is art!" I haven't taken any classes since then, just learning from books.

I see, you are mostly self taught...this gives me hope for myself, it's truly inspiring to see just how far someone can go if the invest time and effort. Keep it up! (is that even possible?)ÓuÔ;

Time and effort are important. Although I don't have a teacher, I have gotten very helpful critiques online. The internet is an amazing resource for artists.

Merry Christmas!
